Skym sends MIDI over USB or bluetooth directly to Ableton on Mac. Using a custom controller script, Skym automatically maps to the first 4 macros of any selected device using X position, Y position, Speed (how fast your finger is moving) and Gate. No need to manually create MIDI mappings, Skym works on the control surface level, like the knobs on a Push or an APC.
In addition macro control, Skym also sends a note when touched. Combining that note input with macros mapped to pitch and scale devices gives you complete control of how harmonically complex you would like. Play one note, or chords and scales, and its all determined per device in your familiar Ableton environment, not menu diving in the app.
